Saidot has been invited to take part in a Nordic New York Accelerator program (NordicNYA) by ERA (Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator), an early-stage investment fund and accelerator programme in New York City. The programme gives promising start-ups guidance and support for scaling in the US market. Saidot was invited as the product and company vision has received a lot of interest from the US market.
The 3-month programme provides resources and support for identifying growth opportunities, understanding product-market fit, branding, marketing, sales and fundraising in the US.
Saidot is looking forward to having access to and collaborating with ERA’s vast network, strengthening our relationship with our existing US partners, creating new connections and initiating new collaborations with people and companies who share our mission for accountability and transparency in the use of AI.
“The US is one of the powerhouses of the Global economy; it’s academic, public and business sectors being bespoke for national needs, whilst also having international reach. As we at Saidot, continue on our journey of AI transparency and accountability and look to develop our auditable and protectable AI concepts, integration in the US is key for our development, growth and scale. The opportunity to learn from ERA through the NordicNYA programme, tailor our business methodology to the US market, and grow our world-class network of clients and partners is invaluable.”, comments Nishan Chelvachandran from Saidot.
From June 24 to September 13, 2019, Saidot’s CEO, Meeri Haataja, and Chief Research and Innovation Officer, Nishan Chelvachandran, will be physically based in the ERA Manhattan office on Madison Ave, New York. We’ll share news and updates of the program on our blog and social media channels.

Saidot is a Finnish start-up founded in 2018. We build technology to help companies & governments develop, use and protect trustworthy & transparent AI. On Saidot’s AI Transparency Platform, algorithmic systems are identified. Each system is given a unique identifier that provides the means for ecosystem transparency, accountability, licensing and new types of supply chain cooperation. Put simply, through our platform, organisations can use to collect and document information about the behaviour and accountabilities of their algorithmic systems, thus securing their AI for easy certifiability according to industry standards and specific requirements.
